A scientist’s position within this ranking hinges on their D-index (Discipline H-index), a refined bibliometric indicator that exclusively encompasses publications and citation metrics pertinent to the examined discipline—in this case, Plant Science and Agronomy. This focused metric ensures that the assessment reflects a researcher’s specific impact within their scientific domain.
Scope of Research and Eligibility Criteria
The ranking analysis encompassed an extensive dataset of 279,971 scientist profiles aggregated from diverse bibliometric sources across all scientific disciplines.
