Zhengzhou University (ZZU), officially established in 1956, is a prominent public comprehensive university located in Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan Province, China. Following a major merger in 2000 with Henan Medical University and Zhengzhou University of Technology, it has emerged as the largest university in central China by enrollment and campus size. As of 2023, ZZU hosts over 73,000 full-time students, including more than 5,300 international students, across four main campuses and 46 schools, affirming its status as a research-intensive and teaching-focused institution.
