The 1st edition of Research.com ranking of top Law and Political Science universities is based on data collected from Microsoft Academic Graph on December 6th, 2021. Position in the ranking is based on a sum of D-index (Discipline H-index) values of all leading scientists affiliated with that university. The ranking process involved a detailed examination of 166,880 researchers’ profiles from Microsoft Academic Graph. For the discipline of Law and Political Science, over 3,028 profiles were examined. Scientists from more than 406 institutions and affiliations were analyzed.
Position in the ranking is based on each scientist’s D-index using data compiled from Microsoft Academic Graph, which is the most prominent and well-established bibliometric database of this type available to the scientific community.
