Overview

George J. Dvorak is affiliated with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in the United States. Throughout their career, they have made contributions to research on metal matrix composites and the micromechanics of materials, areas that have been recognized by the National Academy of Engineering.

Dvorak has received multiple awards acknowledging contributions in mechanical engineering and materials science. These include the Theodore von Karman Medal in 2006 and the Drucker Medal awarded by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) in 2002.
