A scientist’s position in the ranking is derived from their D-index (Discipline H-index), an indicator that considers only the researcher’s publications and citation metrics specific to the examined discipline. This discipline-focused metric ensures fair and accurate assessment of scientific contribution within Medicine.
Scope of Research and Inclusion Criteria
In crafting this ranking, profiles of 279,971 scientists spanning all disciplines were extensively examined using data collated from a variety of bibliometric sources. Within the domain of Medicine in Kyrgyzstan, 1 scientist fully met the rigorous inclusion criteria.
- The main qualifying criterion was a D-index of at least 70, along with a majority of publications in the area of Medicine.
