This score incorporates the estimated h-index of each journal as well as the number of leading scholars who have endorsed the journal over the preceding three years, thereby providing a robust and multidimensional indicator of scholarly impact and recognition within the academic community.

The current edition of the ranking utilizes Impact Score values collected as of November 27, 2024. The assessment process was exceptionally rigorous, involving the review of over 1,373 journals carefully selected after comprehensive inspection of more than 127,753 scientific documents. These publications represent the work of 27,036 distinguished scientists who are widely respected within the Social Sciences and Humanities disciplines.
