While the number of publications in prestigious journals and conference proceedings is not directly factored into the ranking score, it remains a valuable secondary signal of a researcher’s contribution to the discipline.

Positions in the ranking are established primarily through each researcher’s D-index, calculated using data aggregated from OpenAlex and CrossRef—two of the most authoritative and widely respected bibliometric repositories accessible to the academic community.
