Scope of Research and Eligibility Criteria
This ranking was constructed using a meticulous examination of 279,971 scientist profiles identified from a variety of bibliometric sources across all academic disciplines. For the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering field specifically, 1,162 scientist profiles were carefully analyzed.
To qualify for inclusion, a scientist’s D-index had to meet a minimum threshold of 30, reflecting a substantial and impactful publication record within Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. Additionally, the majority of these researchers’ tier publications were required to be in this domain. Recognition of significant awards and achievements specifically related to Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering was also considered as a qualitative factor.
