Overview

Henry A. Lardy was affiliated with the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the United States. Throughout their career, they contributed to scientific research primarily related to agriculture and reproductive biology.

They were recognized with several awards, including the Wolf Prize in Agriculture in 1981 for pioneering research on the storage and preservation of spermatozoa, which facilitated the universal adoption of artificial insemination. Earlier honors included becoming a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) in 1951, and election as a Member of the National Academy of Sciences in 1958.
