Harokopio University

Harokopio University of Athens (HUA) is a public research university located in Kallithea, Athens, Greece. It was founded in 1990 and gained the status of a university in 1990. The university is named after the national benefactor Panagis Harokopos. The 18th state university established in the country, HUA is ranked amongst the educational institutions in the Hellenic Republic.

The university is organized into three schools, which are further divided into four undergraduate departments. These include the School of Environment, Geography, and Applied Economics, the School of Health Science and Education, the Department of Home Economics and Ecology, and the Department of Informatics and Telematics.
