Soochow University
Soochow University is a public research university in Suzhou (Soochow), China. Known as the first Western-style university in China, it was founded in 1900 by Methodists through a merger of three schools. It is a Jiangsu provincial key comprehensive university and part of the Chinese Ministry of Education's Project 211. It is recognized for its programs in basic and applied biology, chemical engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, and clinical medicine.
