International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) is a public university in Islamabad, Pakistan. It was founded in 1980 and is known as a center for Islamic studies. The university began as Islamic University and after restructuring in 1985, it became known as International Islamic University. It is ranked 14th in the country and 4,173rd in the world.
