University of Palermo (UNIPA) is a public higher education and research university located in Palermo, Sicily, Italy. It was founded by Ferdinand III in 1806 and is one of the largest universities in the country. A premier Italian institution, the University of Palermo is known for its high-quality education and innovative research.
