Call for Papers

On behalf of the ISEEE 2023 Committees and from Faculty of Automation, Computers Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering we invite you to participate at the ISEEE-2023, The 8th INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING, which will be held in October 2023 at "Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati, Romania. The Symposium is traditional meeting of researchers, managers, professionals, master and PhD students in order to exchange the experience and opinions with other experts from all over the world.

Galati is an old and beautiful town located in the Eastern part of Romania, at the mouth of the Danube, the Siret and the Prut. Galati - is the country's 5th largest town and the biggest port situated on the maritime Danube; it is 80 miles off the Black Sea shore and about 250 km far from Bucharest. It can be reached easily by train or by car from Bucharest, the capital of Romania.

Overview

This ranking provides a comprehensive evaluation of scientific conferences in the domain of Electronics and Electrical Engineering. Compiled by Research.com, a leading authority in science research across all major scientific fields since 2014, the ranking is grounded in trusted data and a rigorous analysis of scientific contributions in this specific area.

The position of each conference in the ranking is determined by a proprietary bibliometric score developed by Research.com. This unique metric combines the estimated h-index with the number of leading scientists who have contributed to the conference over the preceding three years, offering a robust measure of conference influence and quality. All Impact Score values presented were gathered on 2024-11-27, ensuring the information is current and relevant for researchers and professionals.

The conference selection and ranking process was exceptionally thorough, involving a detailed examination of over 2,204 conferences. This analysis was based on an exhaustive review of more than 95,378 scientific documents authored by 6,160 prominent scientists in the field of Electronics and Electrical Engineering over the last three years. Such a comprehensive scope reflects both the breadth and depth of the data analyzed by Research.com's expert team, further enhancing the reliability and credibility of the resulting conference rankings.

For those interested in the methodology behind the calculation of ranking scores, full details are available on our Methodology Page.

Papers citation over time

A key indicator for each conference is its effectiveness in reaching other researchers with the papers published at that venue.

The chart below presents the interquartile range (first quartile 25%, median 50% and third quartile 75%) of the number of citations of articles over time.

The top authors publishing at International Symposium on Electrical and Electronics Engineering (based on the number of publications) are:

  • Marian Gaiceanu (20 papers) absent at the last edition,
  • Radu Dogaru (17 papers) absent at the last edition,
  • Ioana Dogaru (11 papers) absent at the last edition,
  • Ion Voncila (9 papers) absent at the last edition,
  • Ciprian Vlad (9 papers) absent at the last edition.

The overall trend for top authors publishing at this conference is outlined below. The chart shows the number of publications at each edition of the conference for top authors.

Only papers with recognized affiliations are considered

The top affiliations publishing at International Symposium on Electrical and Electronics Engineering (based on the number of publications) are:

  • University of Galați (70 papers) absent at the last edition,
  • Politehnica University of Bucharest (41 papers) absent at the last edition,
  • Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (29 papers) published 11 papers at the last edition, 7 less than at the previous edition,
  • University of Craiova (22 papers) absent at the last edition,
  • Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (20 papers) published 18 papers at the last edition, 16 more than at the previous edition.

The overall trend for top affiliations publishing at this conference is outlined below. The chart shows the number of publications at each edition of the conference for top affiliations.

Publication chance based on affiliation

The publication chance index shows the ratio of articles published by the best research institutions at the conference edition to all articles published within that conference. The best research institutions were selected based on the largest number of articles published during all editions of the conference.

The chart below presents the percentage ratio of articles from top institutions (based on their ranking of total papers).Top affiliations were grouped by their rank into the following tiers: top 1-10, top 11-20, top 21-50, and top 51+. Only articles with a recognized affiliation are considered.

During the most recent 2021 edition, 2.08% of publications had an unrecognized affiliation. Out of the publications with recognized affiliations, 57.45% were posted by at least one author from the top 10 institutions publishing at the conference. Another 14.89% included authors affiliated with research institutions from the top 11-20 affiliations. Institutions from the 21-50 range included 12.77% of all publications and 14.89% were from other institutions.

Returning Authors Index

A very common phenomenon observed among researchers publishing scientific articles is the intentional selection of conferences they have already attended in the past. In particular, it is worth analyzing the case when the authors participate in the same conference from year to year.

The Returning Authors Index presented below illustrates the ratio of authors who participated in both a given as well as the previous edition of the conference in relation to all participants in a given year.

Returning Institution Index

The graph below shows the Returning Institution Index, illustrating the ratio of institutions that participated in both a given and the previous edition of the conference in relation to all affiliations present in a given year.

The experience to innovation index

Our experience to innovation index was created to show a cross-section of the experience level of authors publishing at a conference. The index includes the authors publishing at the last edition of a conference, grouped by total number of publications throughout their academic career (P) and the total number of citations of these publications ever received (C).

The group intervals were selected empirically to best show the diversity of the authors' experiences, their labels were selected as a convenience, not as judgment. The authors were divided into the following groups:

  • Novice - P < 5 or C < 25 (the number of publications less than 5 or the number of citations less than 25),
  • Competent - P < 10 or C < 100 (the number of publications less than 10 or the number of citations less than 100),
  • Experienced - P < 25 or C < 625 (the number of publications less than 25 or the number of citations less than 625),
  • Master - P < 50 or C < 2500 (the number of publications less than 50 or the number of citations less than 2500),
  • Star - P ≥ 50 and C ≥ 2500 (both the number of publications greater than 50 and the number of citations greater than 2500).

The chart below illustrates experience levels of first authors in cases of publications with multiple authors.

Related Online Degrees & Career Pathways

For students interested in Electronics and Electrical Engineering, exploring online degree options can provide flexibility and affordability. Many institutions offer self-paced programs, making it easier to balance studies with professional or personal commitments. Finding the cheapest self paced online college is a smart strategy to minimize education costs while maintaining quality.

Additionally, prospective students should look for accredited programs to ensure their degrees hold value in the job market. The benefit of enrolling in an online colleges no application fee school can reduce upfront expenses and streamline the admission process, making higher education more accessible.

Aside from core engineering degrees, there are allied health and technical pathways worth considering, such as medical billing and coding. Understanding the medical coding certification cost can help in budgeting for these certification programs, which open doors to stable, well-paying jobs.

For those seeking career advancement, bridge programs like the ccma to lpn bridge program offer a pathway to elevate qualifications and expand career opportunities within technical and healthcare fields.
