Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University (RTEÜ) is a public higher education institution established in 2006, located in Rize, a coastal city in northeastern Turkey. Building on the academic heritage of earlier local academic units, the university has expanded rapidly and now serves as a major educational hub for the region.
