Overview of the University of Central Asia

The University of Central Asia (UCA) is an internationally recognized, not-for-profit, secular academic institution established in 2000 by the governments of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, and the Aga Khan Development Network. With campuses in Naryn (Kyrgyzstan), Khorog (Tajikistan), and Tekeli (Kazakhstan), UCA serves as a leading regional university. It is a research-oriented and comprehensive institution with a current undergraduate student population of approximately 500, supported by a growing faculty body, and designed to eventually accommodate over 1,200 undergraduates per campus. This unique, cross-border university provides higher education and economic development directly in the heart of Central Asia.
