Moreover, candidates must show a proximity of 30% or less between their general H-index and their discipline-specific D-index, reinforcing the emphasis on focused expertise within Engineering and Technology.

Recognizing that raw bibliometric data alone cannot serve as an absolute measure of scholarly output, the Research.com team conducted thorough manual verification of each scientist profile. This included cross-correlation against publications indexed in a wide array of trustworthy academic sources to uphold accuracy and integrity.
While the number of publications in prominent journals and conference proceedings does not directly influence ranking position, such data serve as valuable secondary indicators of a scientist’s research contribution in a specific field.
