Shaanxi Normal University (SNNU) is a public university located in Shaanxi Province of China. It was established in 1944 as Shaanxi Provincial Teachers’ College, became Xi’an Teachers’ College in 1956, and merged with Shaanxi Teachers’ College in 1960 to become Shaanxi Normal University. An influential and comprehensive teacher training university, SNNU belongs to the top-ranked institutions in the country with contributions in the fields of chemistry, mathematics, and biology.
