Overview of Edith Cowan University

Edith Cowan University (ECU) is a comprehensive public university established in 1991, located in Perth, Western Australia. Named after Edith Cowan, the first woman elected to an Australian parliament, the institution was formed from the amalgamation of predecessor colleges with a history stretching back to 1902. ECU operates three campuses – Joondalup (main), Mount Lawley, and South West (Bunbury) – and serves a diverse student body of approximately 31,000, including more than 7,000 international students from over 100 countries.
