The University of Nicosia (UNIC), established in 1980, is a leading private institution located in Nicosia, the capital city of Cyprus. Originally founded as Intercollege, it acquired university status in 2007, evolving into the largest university in Cyprus. As a comprehensive university, UNIC is research-active and teaching-focused, offering a dynamic spectrum of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. The university hosts over 14,000 students from 100+ countries and operates across three campuses in Nicosia, as well as the affiliated Distance Learning School, catering to a truly international academic community.

It was the first university worldwide to offer an MSc in Digital Currency and partners with St George’s, University of London for its Medical School.
