Recognizing that raw bibliometric data alone cannot capture the full scope of a scientist's achievements, all candidate profiles were subjected to meticulous manual verification. Researchers’ profiles and their affiliated works were systematically cross-referenced against a spectrum of reputable publications, ensuring both authenticity and accuracy.
While the number of papers published in prominent journals and conference proceedings does not factor directly into the Research.com ranking, it serves as an informative secondary indicator of scholarly contribution in a given discipline. The key citation metric—each researcher’s H-index—is compiled according to up-to-date data provided by OpenAlex and CrossRef, the two most authoritative and widely used bibliometric sources available to the research world.
