Call for Papers

Numerical modeling and simulations are at the core of computational science and engineering, constituting the third pillar of scientific knowledge to complement theoretical developments and experimental observations. Due to their versatility, numerical methods are increasingly replacing complex and expensive physical tests, revolutionizing the conception, design, optimization, and operation pipeline in daily industrial practice, as well as opening new avenues for scientific discovery in fundamental and applied disciplines.

In this context, two competing goals enter in play: reliability and efficiency. The Adaptive Modeling and Simulation (ADMOS) conference series targets these challenges, with the objective of balancing accuracy and computational effort in numerical simulations, towards predictive digital twins. On the one hand, ADMOS builds upon advanced techniques to guarantee credibility of the results (high-order discretizations; error estimation; validation & verification; uncertainty quantitification; mesh and degree adaptation; time step control; model updating). On the other hand, ADMOS encompasses the development of efficient solutions (reduced-order and surrogate models; data-driven models; multi-fidelity models; statistical computing; scientific machine learning; reinforcement learning) for many-queries applications such as optimization, monitoring, control, data assimilation, and inverse analysis for which fast, real-time predictions are required.

Moreover, ADMOS 2025 intends to expand its scope embracing new, frontier disciplines in computational science and engineering, including discretizations on hybrid/polygonal meshes, automatic mesh generation, statistical learning and optimization, low-rank approximations, behavioral approach and quantum scientific computing, all of them aiming to strengthen the synergy between credible results (accurate and robust) and affordable computation (efficient and adaptive) at the core of ADMOS values.

The XII International Conference on Adaptive Modeling and Simulation (ADMOS 2025) is an ECCOMAS Thematic Conference and IACM Special Interest Conference.

Related Online Degrees & Career Pathways

For students interested in Mathematics, exploring related online degrees can open diverse career opportunities. Many online programs offer flexible and affordable paths that complement a math background.

For example, pursuing an mba under 30k allows math graduates to combine analytical skills with business acumen, enhancing leadership potential in various industries.

Marketing professionals increasingly rely on data-driven strategies, making an online social media marketing degree a valuable option to complement quantitative expertise.

In fast-paced service sectors, an online hospitality management program emphasizes operational efficiency, where precise problem-solving and statistical knowledge are assets.

For those aiming at management roles without the need for standardized tests, many online mba programs no gmat provide accessible pathways to build leadership and strategic skills.

Exploring these related degrees online can expand career options while fitting into diverse schedules and budgets, important considerations for students balancing academics and life.
