Edith Cowan University (ECU) is a distinguished public institution established in 1991 in Perth, Western Australia. Named after Edith Dircksey Cowan, Australia’s first female parliamentarian, ECU was formed through the amalgamation of several teacher colleges and has since evolved into a comprehensive university.
