Scope of Research and Selection Criteria
The ranking evaluated a total of 279,971 scientist profiles compiled from an array of bibliometric data sources spanning all academic disciplines. Specifically, the analysis focused on 4 scientists identified within the Computer Science discipline in the Palestinian Territory, Occupied region. To qualify for inclusion in the ranking, a scientist's D-index had to be at least 30, reflecting a high level of scholarly output and impact within Computer Science. Additionally, a majority of the scientist’s tier-one publications were required to be focused explicitly on Computer Science topics.
