Established in 2007, Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) is Tanzania’s premier public university dedicated exclusively to health sciences. Located in Dar es Salaam, MUHAS evolved from the former Muhimbili University College of Health Sciences, itself an offshoot of the University of Dar es Salaam.
