The Instituto Tecnológico Vale (ITV), established in 2010, is a private, research-intensive institute located in Belém, Pará, Brazil. Founded by Vale S.A., one of the world’s largest mining companies, ITV serves as both a hub for advanced research and a leading postgraduate academic institution in the Amazon region. With two main campuses—in Belém and Ouro Preto—ITV maintains a focused, collaborative community of around 200 postgraduate students and over 70 faculty and research staff, positioning itself at the forefront of scientific development in Latin America.
