Call for Papers

As the Corona pandemic made it difficult for at least a part of the LDIA community to join the very interesting and well-organized LDIA 2021 in Wuhan, we are all looking forward to meeting the whole community in presence again in 2023. We are confident that LDIA 2023 will collate an inspiring set of contributions, keynotes and scientific exchange, and we are working enthusiastically to make it an interesting, successful and memorable event.

Hannover is an almost ideal place for this: It is located in the centre of Europe and in the heart of Germany, on the crossroad of important international traffic routes from north to south and from east to west. Being home to the famous Hannover Messe, it also has a major international airport and a wide range of hotel accommodation. On top, it has touristic and historic attractions, featuring several places included in the World Heritage List in Hannover and nearby. Last but not least, Hannover is located in a region where many evolving applications of electric drive systems are growing remarkably.

Related Online Degrees & Career Pathways

For students interested in Electronics and Electrical Engineering, there are many related online degrees that offer flexible learning options and diverse career routes. Military personnel and their families can benefit from military spouse friendly online colleges, which provide tailored support and resources to help balance education with unique lifestyle demands.

Those aiming to advance academically might explore programs such as online doctoral programs without dissertation requirements. These options can streamline the path to a terminal degree, emphasizing coursework and practical applications rather than lengthy research projects.

If you're considering alternative undergraduate paths, it's worth researching what's the easiest bachelor's degree to get. While such programs might not delve as deeply into technical topics as electronics or electrical engineering, they can provide foundational knowledge or serve as stepping stones to more specialized study.

Additionally, pursuing interdisciplinary areas linked to electrical sciences, like forensic science, is possible through online colleges for forensic science. This field blends analytical skills with technology, opening doors to careers in criminal justice and investigative work that utilize electronic and electrical principles.
