Overview

National Chung Cheng University is a national university located in the Minxiong Township in Chiayi County, Taiwan. It is a member of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, an American organization that provides accreditation to business schools. The university is also included among the top universities in the country for science, technology, and engineering fields.

The university is further organized into seven colleges: Engineering, Education, Law, Humanities, Social Sciences, Management, and Sciences. It also has four learning centers, namely the Center for Language Studies, the Ching-Jiang Learning Center, the Center for Teacher Education, and the Center for General Education. Since its establishment in the year 1989, National Chung Cheng University has gained acclaim for its internationalization, academic excellence, and active interaction with the global community.

The campus is situated in the center of Chiayi County, which is approximately 250 kilometers south of Taipei. It occupies 132 hectares on a hill and is surrounded by trees of various species and buildings in different architectural styles. In addition, National Chung Cheng University is known for its field gymnasium, which is one of the most expensive and splendid constructions in southern Taiwan.
