National Chung Cheng University is a national university located in the Minxiong Township in Chiayi County, Taiwan. It is a member of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, an American organization that provides accreditation to business schools. The university is also included among the top universities in the country for science, technology, and engineering fields.

The university is further organized into seven colleges: Engineering, Education, Law, Humanities, Social Sciences, Management, and Sciences. It also has four learning centers, namely the Center for Language Studies, the Ching-Jiang Learning Center, the Center for Teacher Education, and the Center for General Education. Since its establishment in the year 1989, National Chung Cheng University has gained acclaim for its internationalization, academic excellence, and active interaction with the global community.

The campus is situated in the center of Chiayi County, which is approximately 250 kilometers south of Taipei. It occupies 132 hectares on a hill and is surrounded by trees of various species and buildings in different architectural styles. In comparison to most of Taiwan’s urban campuses, National Chung Cheng University is better known for its open green spaces and winding roads bordered with trees and bushes.

The university is also considered one of Taiwan’s most modern universities. It is a highly regarded institution in the country and is best recognized for its dedication to both the arts and the sciences. As a research-oriented institution, the university places a strong emphasis on innovation and ideas and promotes a global outlook in its education standards.

National Chung Cheng University is also home to a number of state-of-the-art student facilities. It has a modern computer center that supports the university’s academic research activities and is used by the students for computer-assisted instruction, long-distance learning, video conferences, and other multimedia services. The university also houses one of the most high-tech libraries in the country, which boasts an audio-visual center with the latest AV equipment.

In addition, National Chung Cheng University is known for its field gymnasium, which is one of the most expensive and splendid constructions in southern Taiwan.
