Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University (RTEÜ), officially founded in 2006, is a prominent public higher education institution located in Rize, a dynamic city on the eastern Black Sea coast of Turkey. Though its roots trace back to teacher training establishments in 1976, RTEÜ has swiftly evolved into a comprehensive university. Today, it accommodates approximately 18,000 students across 16 faculties, three institutions, and seven vocational schools, consolidating its role as a vital academic and research hub in the region.
