Christ University, officially known as Christ (Deemed to be University), was established in 1969 in Bengaluru, India. Administered by the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), it has evolved from a liberal arts college into a comprehensive private university, officially attaining its deemed status in 2008.
