Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) was established in 1952 in Kumasi, the cultural and industrial hub of Ghana. Emerging from the foundation of the Kumasi College of Technology, KNUST has evolved into Ghana’s premier public research-intensive university. It spans a main campus and several satellite campuses, with a student population exceeding 62,000 as of 2023.
