Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT) Nagpur, established in 1960, is a premier public technical and research university located in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. Formerly known as Visvesvaraya Regional College of Engineering, VNIT gained National Institute of Technology (NIT) status in 2002, marking its expansion in research and international collaborations.
