Sichuan University (SCU), officially established in 1896, is a comprehensive public research university situated in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China. With its origins tracing back to three historic institutions—Sichuan University, Chengdu University of Science and Technology, and West China University of Medical Sciences—SCU’s development reflects over a century of academic tradition and innovation.
