2025 SPE/IADC Middle East Drilling Technology Conference and Exhibition (SMEDTCE)

The SPE/IADC Middle East Drilling Technology Conference is a biennial technical conference jointly organised by the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the International Association of Drilling Contractors. It invites original contributions on drilling engineering, well construction, drilling automation and digitalisation, managed pressure drilling, drilling fluids, well integrity, HSE in drilling operations. Submissions may take the form of full research papers, extended abstracts and poster presentations reporting theoretical, computational and experimental work, as well as industrial case studies and applications. The meeting brings together researchers, engineers, industry practitioners and students to exchange recent results and discuss emerging directions in the field. Accepted papers are published in the conference proceedings (Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE)).
