Journals are ranked according to a unique bibliometric score devised by Research.com’s experts. This score is computed using a sophisticated algorithm that takes into account the estimated h-index of each journal as well as the number of leading scientists who have endorsed the journal over the previous three years. By incorporating these key performance indicators, the ranking ensures a balanced and reliable assessment of scientific influence and expert recognition within the Mathematics community.

The dataset underpinning this ranking is characterized by both scale and rigor. The ranking includes Impact Score values that were gathered on 2024-11-27. The evaluation process involved a thorough examination of more than 807 Mathematics journals, each of which was selected following a detailed inspection and critical review. Over 81,420 scientific documents, published within the past three years, were analyzed. These documents represent the scholarly output of 9,905 leading and highly-respected scientists in the field, ensuring the depth and credibility of the ranking.
