ECHT 2027 / 32nd IFHTSE World Congress on Heat Treatment and Surface Engineering (IFHTSE)

The IFHTSE Congress is the world congress of the International Federation for Heat Treatment and Surface Engineering, held in 2027 jointly with the European Conference on Heat Treatment. It invites original contributions on heat treatment of steels, surface engineering and coatings, nitriding and carburizing, quenching and distortion, thermochemical processes, heat treatment of additively manufactured parts, furnace technology and decarbonisation. Submissions may take the form of full research papers, extended abstracts and poster presentations reporting theoretical, computational and experimental work, as well as industrial case studies and applications. The meeting brings together researchers, engineers, industry practitioners and students to exchange recent results and discuss emerging directions in the field. Accepted papers are published in the conference proceedings (Associazione Italiana di Metallurgia (AIM)).
