PCC's reported overall graduation rate is 31% in the 2024-25 institutional figures. This is a cohort-based measure, not the percentage of all current students who will eventually earn a credential.
Federal graduation-rate reporting generally follows first-time, full-time students and asks whether they complete within 150% of the published time for their credential. At a community college, that leaves out many part-time students and transfer-in students; it also does not count a student who transfers away without first earning the PCC credential as a PCC graduate. The rate was 37% in the preceding reported year, but year-to-year changes should be read with those cohort definitions in mind.
Students evaluating a specific program will learn more by pairing the institution-wide rate with that program's completion, licensing-exam, and transfer outcomes, where the college publishes them.
Potential earnings after PCC depend heavily on the credential, occupation, location, and student's prior work experience. An institution-wide salary claim would conceal important differences between, for example, a transfer-focused associate degree and a qualification for a licensed health profession.
When comparing earnings estimates, students should check whether a figure describes former students who received federal aid, completers of a particular program, or all workers in an occupation. They should also check whether it is a median or an average and how many years after attendance it was measured. College Scorecard program-level figures, when reported, are not a promise of an individual graduate's pay and may exclude people whose earnings cannot be observed in the underlying records.
PCC offers practical career-search support, including résumé preparation, interview workshops, job-search resources, and employer events. Access to those services should not be mistaken for a verified job-placement or salary outcome.
