Standard four- and six-year undergraduate graduation rates are not a useful measure of KCU's principal programs. Those federal measures follow first-time undergraduate cohorts, whereas KCU primarily enrolls graduate and professional students.
For the DO or DMD degree, applicants need program-specific outcomes instead. Useful measures include the share of an entering class that completes the program, the period allowed for completion, licensing-exam results where reported, and - in medicine - residency placement results. These measures answer different questions: a residency placement percentage, for example, is not a graduation rate. When comparing schools, check the cohort year, denominator, and whether a published figure covers one campus or both.
There is no single reliable earnings figure here that represents every KCU graduate one year after completing a degree. Medicine, dentistry, and biosciences lead to different career paths, and physicians commonly enter paid residency training before independent practice.
That timing makes an early-career salary comparison especially easy to misread: a new physician's resident pay does not represent eventual physician earnings, while a biomedical sciences graduate may enter another degree program rather than full-time employment. Applicants evaluating financial return should pair program-specific outcome reports with expected training time, licensing steps, likely borrowing, and the cost of living during further training. Earnings statistics describe measured groups, not what an individual graduate will earn.
