Voorhees University

What are the popular events and traditions at Voorhees University?

Founders' Day, Homecoming, and Fall Convocation are among Voorhees University's recurring campus events. Each serves a different purpose: Founders' Day recalls the institution's origins, Homecoming brings alumni and current students together, and Fall Convocation marks the academic year with a formal campus gathering.

The activities attached to an event can vary by year. Students interested in performances, athletic events, alumni programs, or ceremonies should consult that year's university calendar rather than assume a particular activity is part of every celebration.

What are the student housing and dining options at Voorhees University?

Voorhees offers university-operated housing to undergraduates, including coeducational housing. Reported residence facilities have high-speed internet access. Housing availability does not, by itself, mean every applicant is guaranteed a room.

Students planning to live on campus should check the housing application, eligibility rules, assignment timeline, and any required payments separately from admission. They should also review current dining arrangements and meal-plan terms before comparing residential costs with commuting or off-campus living. For commuters, the relevant budget includes transportation and meals purchased during the day, not just tuition.
