SIT Graduate Institute

What are the security measures and safety resources available for students at SIT Graduate Institute?

SIT students should use the safety and emergency procedures for each place where they study, including any in-person site or field placement. A largely online student and a student traveling for a program component will have different practical safety needs.

Before travel, students should establish how they will receive emergency notices, whom to contact after hours, and how to report misconduct or obtain support. They should also review SIT's applicable sexual-misconduct policies and the institution's current campus security disclosures for any covered U.S. location. A security report records incidents within defined reporting categories and locations; it is not a complete measure of an individual's risk.
