PTSA's historical undergraduate completion figures require careful interpretation. In its 2022 reporting trend, the six-year graduation rate was 50%, while the four-year rate was 0%. The earlier reported six-year rates were 60% for 2019 and 50% for 2020.
These are cohort measures, not the percentage of all enrolled students who graduate in a given year. Standard federal graduation-rate measures focus on first-time, full-time degree-seeking undergraduates and therefore may not represent transfer students, part-time students, or graduate seminarians. At a small institution, a change involving only a few students can substantially move a percentage. Applicants should ask for completion information for their intended credential and attendance pattern rather than treating an older institution-wide figure as a forecast.
A PTSA degree should not be evaluated on an assumed salary outcome. Pay after study can differ substantially among ministry, education, social-service, and business roles, and it depends on location, experience, occupation, and whether further credentials are required.
When comparing published earnings estimates, students should check whether a figure is a median or an average, when earnings were measured, which graduates were included, and whether the sample is large enough to report. A one-year figure is particularly limited for students who continue studying, work part time, or enter professions with additional licensing steps. For a specific career goal, the program's curriculum and the relevant employer or licensing requirements are more actionable than an institution-wide salary assumption.
