Full Sail's reported overall graduation rate is 44% in the 2024-25 IPEDS figures. Its reported four-year rate is also 44%, while the six-year rate is 45%. These figures describe defined student cohorts, not the probability that any newly admitted student will graduate.
IPEDS graduation measures commonly follow first-time, full-time entrants over specified periods. They therefore do not describe every transfer student, part-time student, or person who changes institutions. The separate student-retention figure is 53%; retention measures continued enrollment over a shorter period, not degree completion.
Full Sail's accelerated and online offerings make cohort definitions particularly worth checking when comparing it with a college on a conventional calendar. A program-specific question is more useful than the institution-wide rate alone: ask how many students in the intended degree finish, how long completers typically take, and what happens academically and financially if a student pauses or repeats a course.
College Scorecard field-of-study figures describe reported earnings about one year after completion for federally tracked former students. They are historical measures for groups of students, not starting-salary offers or forecasts for an individual graduate.
The figures vary substantially by field. Reported one-year earnings include $18,806 for film/video and photographic arts, $28,143 for design and applied arts, $36,993 for business administration and management, $48,227 for computer science, and $55,124 for computer engineering. These broad field labels can combine programs and employment paths that differ from the exact degree an applicant is considering.
Scorecard earnings measures have coverage and privacy limitations: not every former student appears in a published figure, and the data do not establish whether a job required the degree or was in the field studied. One year is also a short window in occupations where contract work, portfolio development, or later career moves matter. Compare the relevant program's cost and likely borrowing with its published outcomes, while treating neither a high nor a low field figure as a personal guarantee.
