Conventional four-year and six-year undergraduate graduation rates are not a useful measure of Wongu's graduate professional programs. A prospective student needs completion information for the specific degree, entering cohort and expected program length.
When requesting outcomes, ask how many students in a cohort completed the program, how long completion took and whether students who changed enrollment status are included. Those definitions make a substantial difference: a rate based on full-time entrants, for example, may not describe the likely path of someone planning to study part-time.
A single earnings figure would be a poor prediction of what an individual Wongu student might make after graduation. Income in acupuncture and related practice can depend on location, licensing, employment arrangements, hours worked and the costs of operating a practice.
Applicants evaluating an earnings claim should ask whether it measures employees' wages or business revenue, whether it is a median or an average, and how long after graduation it was collected. They should also compare any earnings measure with likely education debt and the additional costs of examinations, licensure and establishing a practice.
