The cost of attending NEOMED depends substantially on the degree. Published graduate tuition figures should not be used as a substitute for the separate tuition schedules and budgets for medicine, pharmacy or dentistry.
For 2024-25, reported general full-time graduate charges were:
Those figures describe the reported graduate category, not a universal annual bill for every NEOMED student. A professional-program cost-of-attendance budget may also include housing, food, books, equipment, health coverage, transportation and personal expenses; clinical travel can be particularly relevant. Compare the published budget for the exact program and academic year with an individual aid offer. Scholarships reduce what a student pays, while loans help cover current expenses but must generally be repaid.
Eligible students may finance attendance through institutional scholarships, outside awards, federal graduate or professional student loans, and applicable military or veteran education benefits. Federal aid generally begins with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. The financial aid office can clarify a program's budget, scholarship conditions and borrowing options; eligibility and loan rules depend on the student and award year.
Student employment may be possible at NEOMED, but it should be planned around the demands of a professional or graduate curriculum. A part-time campus job, a paid research position and Federal Work-Study are different arrangements, with different funding and eligibility rules.
Federal Work-Study, when included in an eligible student's aid package, supports wages earned from an approved job; it is not a grant paid in full at the start of a term, nor does an award guarantee a position. Students can ask the financial aid office about eligibility and the university's hiring process. Faculty projects and university offices may offer other paid roles, while clinical placements may be required educational experiences rather than paid employment.
Career development is also program-specific. Medical students need advising for specialty choice and residency applications; pharmacy and dental students may need guidance on practice settings, postgraduate training and professional networking. Applicants comparing support should ask their college which advising appointments, employer events, résumé or interview resources, and alumni connections are available to students in their degree.
