University of the Potomac-Washington DC Campus

What are the popular events and traditions at University of the Potomac-Washington DC Campus?

Documented campus events include Student Government Association elections, an annual SGA and alumni cookout and Career Fair, and Rock the Vote. Together, they point to opportunities for student participation, alumni contact, career exploration and civic engagement.

Event dates and formats can change. A prospective student interested in attending should check the current campus calendar, particularly whether an event is held in Washington, online or at another university location. These activities are better understood as documented programming than as evidence of a particular attendance level or long-established campus tradition.

What are the student housing and dining options at University of the Potomac-Washington DC Campus?

University of the Potomac does not offer college-owned or college-operated housing to undergraduates. Students attending the Washington campus should therefore plan to arrange accommodation independently rather than expect a residence-hall assignment.

Without university housing, applicants should compare private leases carefully, including deposits, utilities, lease length and travel time to class. They should also plan for their own meals rather than assume a residential meal plan is included. The room-and-board amount used in cost reporting is an estimate for budgeting, not a guaranteed housing placement or a quoted campus dining charge.
