SNU's reported overall graduation rate is 51% in the 2024-25 institutional data. Its separately reported four-year rate is 48%, while the six-year rate is 49%. These measures should not be added together or treated as a prediction for an individual student.
Graduation-rate measures generally follow defined groups of first-time, full-time students; they do not describe every transfer student, part-time student or adult learner. The reported first-year retention rate is 73%, meaning that roughly seven in ten students in the measured cohort continued into the next year. Applicants should ask their intended program for completion information specific to its students, particularly if they expect to study part time or transfer credits.
Federal College Scorecard program figures offer a limited view of earnings one year after completion, not a salary promise. The reported figures are program-level median earnings for the measured group of federally aided completers, so they should not be interpreted as the starting pay of every graduate.
Examples include $67,174 for computer and information sciences and $58,190 for registered nursing. The reported figure for business administration is $51,848. Differences can reflect occupation, location, prior experience, further study and the composition of each measured group - not simply the effect of a major or institution.
Some programs do not have a publishable figure, and even a published median says little about the range of earnings or the debt students take on. SNU reports career support that includes individual counseling, résumé and interview assistance, job-search resources, employer events and alumni networking. Those services are useful to assess separately from verified employment or earnings outcomes; an internship is not required of every student.
