LIM College students should use the college's published emergency procedures and reporting channels for its New York City locations. Because classes and activities occur in an urban setting, it is useful to know the procedures for the particular building a student uses.
The college's annual security report is the appropriate place to check its current crime disclosures, emergency-response policies, and information about reporting incidents. Students should also locate the current contacts for campus security, Title IX reporting, and counseling or other support before they need them. A crime count describes incidents reported under specific federal rules and periods; by itself, it is not a complete measure of personal safety.
