FSCJ's reported overall graduation rate is 37% in the 2024-25 institutional data. This is a cohort-based completion measure, not the share of all students who will eventually earn a credential.
Federal graduation-rate measures typically follow first-time, full-time degree- or certificate-seeking students and count completion within a defined period, commonly 150% of a program's normal length. As a result, they do not fully describe the outcomes of transfer-in students, many part-time students, or people who leave after completing useful coursework without earning an FSCJ credential. Transfers to another institution can also complicate a simple reading of the figure.
The rate is worth considering alongside the requirements of a particular program. Students can make it more useful by asking how often that program's required courses are offered and whether its published sequence is feasible with their work and family commitments.
Federal College Scorecard program figures report earnings measured one year after credential completion for eligible former students; they are not starting-salary offers or predictions for everyone in a major. The reported measure is median earnings for the covered group, meaning half of those with measured earnings were above the figure and half below it.
These figures describe different fields, not a controlled comparison of otherwise identical students. Credential level, local labor markets, prior experience, further education, and whether someone works full time can all affect earnings. Scorecard measures also cover only students included under the federal reporting rules, so they should be read alongside program costs, licensing outcomes where relevant, and the time required to finish.
