Students evaluating campus safety should use CNU's current emergency instructions, reporting channels and annual security disclosures rather than assume that a particular service is available at every university facility. Procedures may differ among teaching sites and external clinical locations.
Before classes begin, it is useful to identify how to report an emergency, how the university communicates urgent alerts, and where to report sexual misconduct or seek related support. The university's annual security report is the appropriate place to examine federally reported campus crime statistics and associated policies. Those statistics cover defined locations and reporting periods; they are not a complete measure of any individual's personal risk.
