Graduation outcomes at CIAM are best evaluated by graduate program and entering cohort. Standard four- and six-year undergraduate graduation-rate measures are designed around first-time undergraduate students and would not, on their own, describe how an MBA or doctoral cohort progresses.
An applicant comparing programs can request the share of entering students who complete the degree, the period used to measure completion, and the typical time to finish. For doctoral study, it is particularly important to distinguish completion of coursework from completion of the full degree.
A CIAM degree should not be assigned a single expected salary. Earnings depend on prior work experience, occupation, location, degree level, and whether a student changes roles after studying.
Applicants evaluating an earnings claim should ask whether it reports a median or an average, when income was measured, how many former students were included, and whether the group included people who were already employed before enrollment. Employment support and an individual graduate's pay are different measures of a program's value.
